Week 3

Chapter 5=

Sybil vane is a girl that is in love with Dorian Gray she doesn't know whats his name so she calls him prince charming she thinks he's also in love with her and she is fascinated with these gentlemen. Sybil, her mother and her brother talks about this prince charming. His brother James is going to Australia

because he doesn't want to be in London anymore, Sybil is glad for him and his hopes and prospects of the new life. James is worried to let her alone with her mother so he incited her mother to take care of Sybil because he loves her. Almost at the end of this chapter James ask Mrs. vain if she was married to her father and she answers no but that she loves him so this was shocking to James and he ask her to don't tell Sybil because it will hurt her.

Chapter 6= 

As James leaved to Australia, Dorian in engaged to be married with his sister Sibyl. Basil was shocked by that fact and when Henry told him that they were going to see Sibyl that night, he reacted in a surprised way. Basil and Henry meet with Dorian and he told them the story of how he meet Sibyl,

Basil was disappointed with Dorian because he told first about the engaged to Henry than to him. He were in a Italian restaurant with Henry and she arrived, he told them that she was so beautiful and that they kissed. They also talked about being engaged, and that she has not even told his mother about that, also Sibyl was thinking that she was no worth for being Dorian's wife. Henry ideals is that everyone should just be attracted with their own pleasures in life, and that women are worthless. When they left the place, Henry and Dorian left in Dorian's carriage and Basil, in a cage. In that moment, Basil realized that Dorian wasn't the same person with him, as he was before. 

Quote
"The reason we all like to think so well of others is that we are all afraid for ourselves" pg. 81

In this quote, Henry is telling that people are afraid to see their mistakes, and bad attitude  so we decide to reflect how we see ourselves in the other people. So, if I had commit a crime, and we are afraid to accept it, we will reflect good attitudes into another person.
